I had a pleasant stay at a budget-friendly accommodation near Victoria Falls. The hotel may be a bit dated, but the rooms were clean and the breakfast was satisfying. Despite occasional power outages, the WiFi and lights were backed up by a generator. The staff were helpful, although there was a slight miscommunication about ordering a taxi.

For what you pay, this place is an absolute steal! I had one of the best value for money accommodations ever at Pennywise Cottages. the room had everything I needed, from plenty of plugs to comfortable beds and hot water in the shower. the friendly staff, especially Cyril, made my stay even better. the decor matched the country's vibe perfectly, and the quiet and safe neighborhood added to the relaxing atmosphere. While the Falls were a bit far away, they were still walkable, and I never needed a taxi.
A lovely and budget-friendly place to stay. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

Room was a bit dark with dark colors and some dirty bed linen. Encountered a spider and mosquitoes which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with multiple types of electric plug sockets and backup generators in case of power cuts. the amenities provided, such as shampoo and soap, were of good quality. the staff was very helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. the location was convenient, within walking distance to the main tourist street and attractions, although a taxi was needed at night for safety.
The lack of a restaurant on site meant having to venture out for dinner after dark, which could be inconvenient. There were some issues with payment for tours booked through the hotel, resulting in double charges on credit cards.
